The Crown of Avalon¶
Avalon has a hereditary monarchy: The Crown of Avalon.
When the throne is vacant, each active party may nominate one activist for the Crown. Avalon uses the oldest party selection method, so the nomination from the oldest eligible nominating party wins when the nomination window closes. If no one nominates a candidate, the vacancy is extended.
The winning party becomes dormant while it reigns. It loses its seats, cabinet offices, international bloc memberships, and Political Power, then plays as the Crown until abdication or inactivity removal.
See Hereditary Monarchy for the full rules.
