Rules & Policies

All players must agree to these rules before fully participating in Lawmaker. These rules ensure a fair, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Core Rules

Stay In Character

This is a role-playing game. You should remain In Character (IC) and avoid Out Of Character (OOC) behaviour within the game. OOC discussions are allowed in the Discord community.

Consistency with Your Party

Your behaviour should be consistent with the party you are playing. The policy pillars you identify when creating your party should be the basis of your behaviour.

No Real-World References

Do not use real party names, countries, people, or events. This is a fictional simulation designed to let players explore political strategies without real-world constraints or bias.

No Race or Religion Focus

This simulation does not simulate race or different religions. No policies or parties should be focused on race or religion.

Be Respectful

Be respectful of others and do not use offensive language. Spirited in-character (IC) argument is acceptable, however offensive or abusive language should not be used.

Report Issues Properly

Report bugs and issues using the bug report button at the bottom right of the page. This helps us maintain a quality experience for all players.

English Only

All discussions must be in English to allow for effective moderation.

Account Policies

Multiple Accounts During Alpha

During the alpha phase of Lawmaker, players are permitted to maintain multiple accounts for the same person, with the following restrictions:

  • No same-country accounts: You cannot operate multiple parties in the same country. Accounts must be in different countries.
  • No collaboration: You cannot coordinate or collaborate between your multiple accounts. Each account must operate independently as separate players.

Once the game exits alpha, the multiple account policy will be reviewed and updated accordingly.

By playing Lawmaker, you agree to follow these rules and policies. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the game.
